Farmers Daughter Vineyards is a third-generation family farm in Pelham, GA and what they are doing is amazing. With a commitment to family, quality, and delicious bottles of wine, we are proud to feature them this month.

The family planted their first crop of grapes in Spring 2014 and the first harvest of their winery was in July 2015. By Spring of 2016, they released their first bottles of wine. Since then, they have won dozens of awards for their wines, including 19 in the first year! Participating in competitions all over the US and winning for a wide range of products is gaining them attention from Mitchell County to California, and beyond.

Their website describes their grapes and wines as “three varieties of French-American hybrid grapes and seven fruit-forward wines” and continue with “our off-dry wines simultaneously respect and buck southern tradition – delighting consumers with unexpected complexities and a bright, clean finish.”

While Farmers Daughter wines are produced in Pelham, Georgia, their tasting room is a short ride away in Thomasville. There you can sample their products and buy your own bottles to take home.

We invite you to visit this amazing local business at their website, www.FarmersDaughterVineyards.com , or at their tasting room and see that wine in the south is delivered with the hospitality we expect and a quality that the world does.

Thank you for producing in Mitchell County!
